Western Area's "59 for the Future" Launches 1/18/17
IPC member, Dr. Jackie Kimbrough, Chairs the Western Area's newest elite scholars program "59 for the Future".
Fourteen Chapters from the Western Area of the Links, Incorporated have selected scholars to participate in a unique online, self-paced study on topics affecting our world. January 18th saw the launch of this program with 14 students, a.k.a. Cohort of 14, including IPC's own selected scholar, Alexandra Patierno. To create thought leaders and change agents among youth, preparing them to examine and address complex global issues while increasing their competitiveness for college admission and the global marketplace. Congratulations, Jackie!!!!
Mission of Help, Mission of Hope - Haiti
IPC's Dr. Thelma James Day has been tapped by Western Area Director, Roxann Thomas Chargois, at the 2016 WA Leadership Summit held in Newport Beach, CA, to organize the sister Links for a mission to Haiti. This is part of the Western Area of the Links, Incorporated, five-year commitment to help the citizens of Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the Northern Hemisphere.

February 28, 2017 marked the start of IPC's newest class of budding photographers at Inglewood High School. The program, "Through The Lens of Child" is in its 5th year and has been nationally recognized as an Arts Facet Signature Program.
