ITS Committee Honors
Vera Ricketts & the late Dr. Newton Ricketts for 30+ years of Intl Service to people of HAITI
The May 27, 2017 IPC Chapter monthly meeting saw the International Trends & Services Committee honor Chapter Organizer, Vera Ricketts and Connecting
Link Dr. Newton Ricketts for over 30 years of International Service to the people of the country of Haiti. We learned that the late Dr. Newton Ricketts was a native of Haiti and that he and Vera worked with Air Jamaica Airlines to personally insure all donations from the United States got to the people who needed the help. The 2017 ITS Committee members presenting to Vera and her daughter who was there to represent the late Dr. Newton Ricketts included: Winifred Yancy, Faye Williams, Rita Bernard Harris, JoAnn Jolly Blanks-ITS Chair, and Charlotte Ned.
